Since 2021, First Book Canada and Jays Care Foundation have partnered on Turn the Page: a free book fair-style event designed to celebrate local educators, increase access to new books and educational resources, and foster a love of reading among youth, schools, and communities across Canada.
On January 28, 29 and 30th, 2025, nearly 900 GTA educators and community leaders visited the Rogers Centre in Downtown Toronto for Turn the Page 2025. Attendees were able to hand-pick 150-200 books and distribute those resources to the children they serve.
