As part of the Adopt-A-Reader Campaign, First Book Canada and Mothers Matter are running a joint contest on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram to encourage family literacy.
Two (2) contests will be held across all platforms with the first kicking off on February 16th, and the second on February 22nd to encourage reading with your children every day.
We will be giving away two (2) gift baskets of 12 brand-new children’s books (for ages 0-5) to Canadian families who share a picture reading with their children.
Post a picture of you reading with your child on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram tagging both @firstbookcanada and @mothersmattercentre with the hashtag #adoptareaderraffle for a chance to win a gift basket of books!
OR
Reply to any of First Book Canada or Mothers Matter Centre social media posts with the hashtag #adoptareaderraffle and a picture of you reading with your child, showing the importance of family literacy.
You may only enter the contest once. Multiple posts will not be considered multiple entries. The winner of the first raffle (winner announced Feb. 22nd) will not be eligible to win the second raffle (winner announced March 1st)
NOTE: First Book Canada and Mothers Matter Centre have the right to share any pictures posted as an entry to this giveaway.
The first contest will run from Monday, February 16th to Friday, February 19th, 2021 at 5 p.m. PST. Winners will be contacted through social media at 10:00 a.m. PST on Monday, February 22nd, 2021 and will have until the end of day (5 p.m. PST) to accept the prize.
The second contest will run from Monday, February 22nd to Friday, February 26th, 2021 at 5 p.m. PST. closed at 5 p.m. PST on Friday, February 26th, 2021. Winners will be contacted through social media at 10:00 a.m. PST on Monday, March 1st, 2021 and will have until the end of day (5 p.m. PST) to accept the prize.
